There is a clear lack of respect and empathy toward employees. - Senior leadership micro-manages and gaslights employees of all experience levels. - If you plan on having children via. adoption, surrogacy, pregnancy, etc, and hope to have job safety on your maternity/paternity leave, I don’t recommend working here. Don’t let Later’s social presence, marketing, or nice Careers page fool you into thinking you’re joining a welcoming, kind, empowering, and healthy work environment. You may see many open marketing roles — know these are not because of company growth. They are because of micro-management, redundancies, and tenured people voluntarily leaving. The issues are much deeper than the growing pains of a company post-acquisition. It’s poor leadership, planning, and communication. If you value working on a marketing team that fosters a positive environment where you feel empowered to do great work, are appreciated, and are respected, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The new Later has a clear vision, strong leadership & direction, an amazing strategy, sales & services team, backed by powerful technology. We are all-in on the strategy and everyone leans-in to make things happen and fast, recognizing the impact their hard work can have. This is not a big bloated tech company with tons of red tape and politics. If you have good ideas and get scrappy, big things come from it. The acquisition of Mavely has paid off significantly, bringing in an amazing product & team members, along with a game-changing creator customer base. This really differentiates Later's full offering to brands and creators. Great decisions here! The leadership team is intentional on over-communicating and I really enjoy the transparency from the CEO on his socials, leading from the front. There's also immense value hearing from all departments in the regular All-Team meetings, at the department level and company level. It's hard and yet really rewarding work here. Later has hired really bright and driven people, which up-levels all of us. Highly recommend joining this rocketship!

Throughout 2025 there were a number of strategy shifts, but it ultimately got the company to a really strong place and focus, for the years ahead. We're differentiated and making really big impact in the market for our customers. This is not the place for coasting or hiding. It's hard work, but really energizing at the same time. We're doing really big things here!
