Vantaggi
The work here can be consistent. Always stuff to work on. They usually paid for lunch.
Svantaggi
There was always stuff to work on, even on weekends and Holidays. The higher ups did not consider this an issue. They didn't really consider bringing in more computers and hands to work on projects and hoped that everyone who was there would be able to work OT. They go through a lot of artists and about half the people I know in the industry have had some experience with them. There never seemed to be enough artists on hand to work on spots. The Creative Directors were spread thin. Producers had to fight to get artists to work on their spots. Lead animators never had enough help. Animators were swapped often to other spots. Modelers were often swamped with the amount of characters and props they needed. Artists were put in the Mocap stage to work with poor lighting (very bad for the eyes). Lunch was paid for, but it was looked down upon to take 30 minutes to eat and stretch.
Bottom line, I felt miserable working here. Things might have changed, but I'm not sure by how much. I've also heard similar stories, so it wasn't just me.
