LaunchPad Central was created based on the ideas of Steve Blank (who left the board) and designed to instruct users in academic programs, start-ups, accelerators and enterprise how to create, develop & validate business ideas. In 2013 and 2014, they had government backing and seemed set to really create a deep impact on the way people thought about product and service development. But since late 2014, the company has not pursued an honest attempt to bring Lean, Agile principles to the enterprise, much less academia or startups. The whole thing is a thinly veiled sham. No new products or services have been developed. It is just a con. Lean, Agile principles are still full of potential. This would be the last place to look for them as a career move.
