- horrible management especially the HODs. They are all in the hotel for more than 7 years so the office is basically their playground. There is no point trying to change the culture there, they are the boss and they know it so they take advantage of their power to make newbies feel worthless and crush everyone else’s confidence. - Micromanaging, they will give u a dirty look if you leave the office for too long, even if u went to the toilet to do a number 2, they will ask you why so long only come back??? Operating hours for office staff is 8:30-5:30, if you leave at 5:45 they will give u a dirty look and assume that you have ntg to do so they will give you more work the next day. - lunch time STRICTLY 1 hour, although their (managers/directors) lunch time can be up to 2.5 hours 🫢 i was late for 4 mins from lunch and she told me to my face hey u know lunch is one hour only right??? - they will force u to donate to some annual charity programs, its not even voluntarily donating anymore, they straight up say that its compulsory because they want their department to look good 😎 - One of the HODs will not hesitate to scream at u even if you’re not under her department, she is known to have a bad temper and she is proud of it. Just like a highschooler who thinks that she is cool because everyone is scared of her, but in reality no one is scared of her everyone just thinks that she is childish and reek of smoke - Ganging, they basically have their own gang and they rule the world (well only in LMKL 😂)

Le Meridien has strong leadership and experience with its General Manager, Cassey Kirk. The Assistant Manager, Ariel Reed, has buttoned down all areas of the company to support each leader to be successful. The employees are happy, giving and caring to support each other. The culture is amazing

Svantaggi

The hotel is old, so there are issues with pipes, drainage, etc. However the GM addresses all these issues and is continually ensuring the hotel is top notch at all times.

Customers are probably your best friends here. The people that visit are pretty nice. They just want to have good service, especially for what they're paying. Understandable. Often, I wanted to go above and beyond for the nice people that came here.

Svantaggi

Staff is nice but you can't help but feel like overall everyone is using each other as a stepping stone. Or to make themselves look good. Or to even get themselves out of trouble. Since this position is the bottom of the pecking order. Prepare yourself. Don't get taken advantage of but also remain professional at all times.
