You get to watch a masterclass in what not to do in business.
Svantaggi
From the start, I could tell things were off. There was no real leadership or direction, just a lot of noise and confusion. The CEO clearly didn’t understand the product, yet somehow made all the decisions, most of which were short-sighted and reactive. The company's only focus was BOTTOM LINE, regardless of what it meant for the employees or the customers, who, by the way, were leaving in waves for competitors. It was hard to blame them. Inside, things were just as chaotic. Most of us worked in fear, unsure if we'd still have a job next quarter. Turnover was ridiculous, and it was basically expected that 25% of the team would be laid off every year. Meanwhile, our paychecks were often wrong, which felt borderline illegal. You’d have to beg to get paid correctly, which only added to the stress. The vibe was toxic, unstable, and honestly kind of tragic.
