Vantaggi

The office is in a great location. Perks like free snacks and coffee are nice touches, and compensation has been above average historically.

Svantaggi

The consistent pattern of negative reviews here isn’t a coincidence—there’s a reason so many people have felt the need to speak up. If you're tempted to brush off the feedback and assume it's just disgruntled former employees, I encourage you to pause and consider this: the culture at Leadline is deeply unhealthy. The company culture often feels disingenuous—what’s presented as supportive or caring quickly turns into manipulation or control. Leadership struggles are a major issue. There is a clear lack of accountability at the top, which leads to missed deadlines, poor communication, and a general lack of support for employees trying to do their jobs well. Teams are frequently left to figure things out on their own, relying on outside tools, like ChatGPT, or guesswork to get clarity. Internal dynamics often seem more focused on politics and power than collaboration or progress. This creates a frustrating environment where doing great work takes a backseat to navigating egos and unclear expectations. Layoffs have been frequent and poorly handled. Between company-wide reductions and quiet terminations, the turnover rate is staggering. By some estimates, upwards of 60 people have cycled through the company over the past few years. That kind of instability is not a fluke—it’s a reflection of the leadership and internal dysfunction. If you’re still considering joining Leadline, I genuinely hope your experience is different and the company starts thriving. But don’t say you weren’t warned.

Vantaggi

The people working here genuinely enjoy it. If there are those who don't, I haven't heard from them. I was really worried when interviewing for the job because of some of the previous company reviews. I asked a few current employees AND previous employees who were part of layoffs about their experience before joining. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm really glad that I did. The employees here are happy. I haven't heard anyone working here speak negatively about the company or leadership. There are growing pains, but the team is actively working to improve processes and culture. The executive team clearly cares about their people. Maybe this wasn't always true, but I've been in multiple meetings with leadership where they have purposefully protected team members' time and mental load to ensure they don't get burnt out. Even the people who left negative reviews mentioned it, but this company makes a legit investment in snacks. I've worked at several companies of the same size, and those that invest in little things to make their people happy are also the ones that invest in the big things for their people. That's been true here. A recent 'big investment' in the team is the company has moved to a 4-day work week. No extra hours on those 4 days - just an extra day off. Same pay as the 5-day work week we had, so we effectively got a 20% hourly raise. 20 Days PTO annually, available as soon as you start. With a 4-day work week, that's 5 weeks of vacation.

Svantaggi

The only 'con' I've encountered is a lot of ongoing change. It's not unmanageable, but it is persistent. The marketing industry is changing because of AI. We've had to pivot in our services and focus to adapt. Departments within our company have been overhauled in the last year or two. There's still some growing pains as we refine our processes. Much of our growth and direction is a 'work in progress.' We have several things going for us that work really well, but things are continually being optimized. I'd call it a challenge more than a 'con.' But if you're hoping to join a company that has all its' processes written in stone, this isn't it. If you enjoy more of the startup feel of figuring out how to build and optimize as you go, you'd fit in well.

Dan W. and Matt P. True professionals. Level-headed, respectful, and the kind of people who should be leading this organization. It’s unfortunate they are not the ones calling the shots.

Svantaggi

I was invited to shadow the agency for what I believed was a legitimate business opportunity. I paid my own way and showed up ready to contribute. No one, including the owner, knew I was coming. He literally asked me on day two, “Why are you even in the building?” That wasn’t a misstep. That was a total leadership failure. I was told I “wasn’t a culture fit.” Truthfully, the culture itself was nonexistent. No communication. No alignment. No plan. Months later, I was approached again for a business development role. I was told directly there would be no Business Development Director title. I was offered a position at a wage far below what had previously been paid for the same work. I declined, knowing my worth. Shortly after, they hired a Business Development Director anyway, behind my back. That’s not just sloppy. That’s dishonest. This agency operates on inherited wealth and ego, not experience or vision. Ownership is out of touch, ill-prepared, and unqualified to lead a modern media business. He didn’t even know someone was flying in to potentially join his team. That says everything.
