COO Samy Aboel-Nil promised several promotions to key leaders with long tenures (2+ years) on the team given they meet certain performance metrics. Even after meeting these metrics, Samy terminated all of them by asking a newly hired senior leader to fire them so that he wouldn't have to make it appear that it was his decision (imagine telling someone how great they are doing and you'll never let them go, for months or years, and then being fired weeks later). Management causes great products like TeachTap to fail. COO wakes up with a new business idea he thinks is great, and everyone else is too scared to disagree because they don't want to be in his bad books. Even though the COO encourages people to argue their points, nobody does. COO chooses to surround himself with incompetent, foreign leaders who make decisions which cause the smart, rational workers and managers to question their existence and why they even work at this company. COO violates US labor and employment law knowingly. VP managers are asked to ignore these laws, despite US employees constantly informing their VP leaders that they are violating the law.
