strict in submitting requirements, unpredictable schedule set up

* People are friendly * Occasional free food

* very low pay vs industry standard * the people aren't necessarily overflowing with talent * micromanagement to the point you feel you can't breath * talentless large egos in middle management, most are lucky to even have a position in middle management. * Upper management might as well not even exist. You won't hear from them except when you make them millions. In which case you will have a couple of beers one Friday evening and listen to them tell you how happy they are that you made them millions. * very hard to take initiative (i.e. make "things" happen, implement new ideas, etc). Things change so quickly due to half thought out ideas/decisions from middle management, you might as well not even try to think outside your little box. * Not concerned at all with attracting top talent, would rather have mindless sheep. They do ask less questions and cost less after all * More liaisons/managers/people who don't actually do anything other than tell others what's going on/what to do, than to shake a stick at. * Poorly defined job duties/roles/positions, everyone seems to do a little bit of "this and that"
