3yThank you for your review and perspectives. Our remote first work environment is really great for those who enjoy not having a commute and utilizing the comforts of home. While we do our best to support our employee’s special interests and passion projects, we do have to make sure that all of our work efforts align with our business objectives. In the first year there is a ton of learning and growing into a new role so special projects are often reserved for our more tenured employees. I am confident that over time that would have happened for you, too.
It’s great to see that you were doing training on your last day. On an employee’s last day we do have to cut off access at 4:30pm to ensure a proper transition. This is standard practice at most companies and we always ask the manager prior to doing so.
