You will be pleased to hear that since you left the company and we have made tremendous progress in the points that you raised.
- By reviewing our recruitment process, we are now ensuring that our workforce is becoming more and more diverse. And it has so far really paid off with some excellent new people joining the team.
- We have been addressing our former parity issue and now 40% of our staff at management level are female. It is still quite difficult to ensure parity at all levels of the organisation due to the nature of our business, but we are generally making progress in that specific direction and we will continue to think of new ways to ensure everyone has a chance to join HPD and progress their career.
- There is more than one channel used by our employees to be heard: Our employee forum, with employee representatives selected by the staff, has been very effective to address some general concerns within the company. Additionally, their line manager and our HR Manager is more than happy to listen and address individual employees’ queries.
- As we are currently growing, we want to ensure that our current employees and future employees will (continue) to be happy to work with us. Therefore, you will be glad to know that we are looking at new ways of working and ensuring that our benefit and reward package stay competitive.
- We are doing some exciting developments with our product suite , in particular around UI and UX. We are increasing our customer base monthly and the HPD team are producing some really fantastic software.
