Great company culture, core values, recognition, training, and family feel. High end equipment, that is some of the best in the HVAC industry. Lennox staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and some of the best in the industry. Company has been in business since 1895.

Svantaggi

Company is focused on equipment manufacturing and less on parts & supplies. Required to relocate to Richardson, TX corporate office for management and/or senior leadership roles. Company can be old fashioned in some areas, slow on processes, and have delayed decision making.

Depending on the department, you may work with great people who are trying to make a difference. For the most part, everyone wants to help unfortunately there is too much red tape and outdated SOPs that prevent real change / progress. The training / onboarding has gotten better in recent years.

If you like constant restructuring, layoffs, nepotism, favoritism, and unpredictability then Lennox is right for you. Mismanagement from the C-suite is laughable if it wasn't so criminal. The C-suite thinks that they are the best of the best. The cream of the crop. They will put on a show, literally, and say the things that all of the hard working employees want to hear like, "Thank you", "We appreciate everyone here", "You are the best in the industry". However, they fall short on following through with their commitments. There was a time when the core values of this company (Integrity, Respect, and Excellence, meant something. Now they are, sadly, just words with "guiding behaviors" under them. The company will launch employee surveys and gloat the high score when the reality is that no one fully trust that those surveys are anonymous and fear retribution for telling the truth. From the store level, there are always shortages in parts (OEM and aftermarket) and equipment. Store managers are tasked with an enormous amount of responsibilities for pay that is on the lower end of what the competition pays. Hence, the high turnover rate for the stores. Unless you're relocatable, or don't live within the vicinity of corporate, opportunities for advancement is ZERO. The current CEO eliminated WFH roles and the hybrid schedule that used to be in place.
