There is definitely an excellent training program to learn and grow skills. There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills like cyst service, selling, insurance filing, cutting lenses for frames in the lab.

Micromanaging is company culture. They want the floor leader to instruct you and you are supposed to check back with the floor leader before proceeding to the next client (which you already knew who was next). You are told when to take breaks, who you are assigned to for patients ordering. Technology is there but lacks fine tuning. As an example they just upgraded the tablets so that they are more functional. There are LOTS of “known issues” as stated by the service team that helps with tech issues. These issues can be quite a long time before being resolved (like over a year in some cases). They come out with new lens drop downs and then don’t remove lenses that are no longer available and you are just supposed to know which ones not to pick. The order will get canceled so you have to do remakes.
