For some the location (Oak and Michigan) is a bonus, but if you live in the suburbs or basically anywhere that isn't the north side of the city, it is a rough commute. It's interesting if you're into watching police activity when the local shops get robbed, which is daily.

This is the most poorly run, unprofessional environment I've ever experienced. If you have never had a professional job and start here, it will seriously hurt your career and expectations of what a job should be. No one seems to know what's going on. It's been half a year and I barely have access to what I need in order to do my job, management is out of touch or doesn't care, and the one person who seems to control all systems and access will only give out bits of information if you word your questions in a way he likes. It would be slightly less awful if, in addition, there weren't ghastly people with titles like "architect" who clearly don't know what they're doing but try to cover it up by yelling over everyone and barking ridiculous commands. Maybe other areas of the company are different, but I wouldn't know since there is no cohesion, and not even an org chart to use as a reference point. It's maddening and I look forward to moving on. I wish I hadn't believed them in the job interview, because this is not what I was hired to do.
