Vacation time is ample and is almost always approved when requested off. Employees are able to come in early and leave early, or come in late and leave late - whichever works best for their particular lifestyle. The salary appears to be comprable to other near by companies in the area and the benefits are also quite sufficient. As far as places to work in the area, Liberty Mutual is probably one of the more preferred companies one could work for.

Senior Management, and management in general appears more interested in the day to day bureaucracy and power struggles than they are about actually getting things done. It must concern an individual from the outside looking in, or from the inside looking out for that matter, that the company is just nailing down its internet site now - in 2008. A little late to the party... Very conservative in decision making and the acceptance of new ideas and thoughts. Lack of understanding from management regarding what employees do and the nature of work being accomplished on the ground. A definitely disconect between management and employees.
