Incompetent leaders do exist in the organization that make it challenging for some to succeed, despite the incredible investment the org makes to develop leaders. Fortunately, I don’t work with any of them in my line of the org chart.
We can be too “nice” with each other that communication can sometimes be diluted and lack accountability. This can also lead to inefficiency in processes and achieving objectives.
Pay for most of the central office roles is below market. Without the “perks” of ministry tax incentives in these roles, there is definitely a financial sacrifice to consider before accepting one of these roles.
