Vantaggi

Svantaggi
-Pay is eh -Lots of aquatic politics (awful) -Rude, micro manager supervisors -Lifeguard zones too big -Too many blindspots -No communication with management to members (ex: lessons were cancelled for two weeks, only notice to members were postings inside building, nothing was emailed to them, no one called, staff did not even know that this was happening..imagine how stupid staff looked infront of parents) -Everything was about making the most money -Did not fall in regulations with Lifesaving Society -People allowed on deck with shoes, people are allowed to eat on deck -Rude patrons (they make you feel degraded) -Everything was about facility maintenance: folding towels, cleaning windows, collecting towels -NEW lifeguard did not receive trainings or orientations, they did not know how to lifeguard and I didn't feel confident working with them. I had to watch over other guards zone as they were not scanning..they didn't know what to watch for -At times not rotated, I was guarding 4 hours without a rotation or change of post...at times my supervisor wanted me to guard not to patron to guard ratio, I told him I would not work unless he was guarding with us as I did not feel comfortable.
