      Honestly, certain members of the team were all that made my time at Lightbox worthwhile. Despite staff turnover being incredibly high, whilst I was there, Lightbox were for some reason really good at attracting very talented, kind and hardworking people. Even in what I found to be a toxic working environment, certain team members always kept a positive attitude and mindset which on some of the hardest days certainly helped me out.

      • If transparency is what you're looking for, this isn't the place. All stories of success are short-lived and 'optimised' to sound more appealing to the outside world • Staff are under-appreciated, underpaid but consistently overworked • More attention is given to the idea of 'team culture' then the actual consideration for how the team are feeling. Staff wellbeing is nonexistent, which isn't helped by the missing HR presence (when I was there at least) • I found the attitude and environment to be built on and around the idea of 'banter' which on multiple occasions left me feeling uncomfortable, from both direct and indirect comments. I personally feel that this workplace is not equipped to be inclusive and has failed, out of ignorance, to embrace the diverse world we now live in. Internal comments are sometimes inappropriate and inconsiderate to the varying beliefs of individuals, whether that be to do with politics, sexuality and/or race. • Lack of clarity, direction and organisation • There also seems to be an unprofessional approach to when employees depart the company. In my time, those who left weren't given as much as a goodbye and later find out from ex-colleagues that they have been bad-mouthed in the workplace and amongst clients, for no apparent reason. • A deeply scarring and uncomfortable experience

      Thank you for the feedback - sorry it's taken so long to come back to this. Whilst we feel some of your comments are unfair, we certainly didn't mean to make you feel like this and have taken what you have said on board. In the past 6 months, Lightbox has conducted a full analysis of the business with its employees to address areas where we could improve, since then we have created an industry-leading flexible working arrangement, transparent and regular updates, along with a range of other benefits, we openly congratulate and thank all employees who move on to pastures new.       The people Lightbox attract are incredible at what they do.

      The amount of fake positive reviews on here is embarrassing. Classic Lightbox, quick to discredit the genuine reviews so they don’t have to take accountability for the many ways in which they’ve messed up. I could go on about the lack of integrity and the complete disregard for employee wellbeing as the team are continuously set unrealistic deadlines and expectations (and not listened to when they voice their concerns), but I think these fake reviews and responses really speak for themselves. This review “must surely be logged against the wrong business?!” Not only is that insulting the intelligence of former employees who have helped to keep Lightbox afloat, but it’s also making you look pathetic. Stop deflecting genuine feedback and start doing something about it rather than keeping up appearances, because it’s only a matter of time before more people realise this facade is a false representation of Lightbox. Although I’m sure you’ll be quick to come back and tell me that I’m wrong and everything is amazing. Oh, and congratulations Julie for winning the title of Business Woman of the Year and for further reinforcing that it’s not what you know, but who you know! Maybe stop bragging about the many meaningless awards you’ve won and look into why you continue to fail to grow as a business.

      Hello again, it's Julie MD of Lightbox here. I'm sorry you seem to have had such a bad experience at Lightbox, it must have felt like a very long two years! As in many of my comments to the other reviews, I have talked about where we have taken feedback and made changes and we are making changes every day to be a better business. I've not denied we had some issues, I'm not denying we still have some improvements to make. We openly shared our recent scoring from exit interviews and have taken remedial action on the areas where we could do better. In terms of the attack on me personally, sadly as a strong woman leader in business, I have come to expect a minority of people will belittle my achievements. My family and friends are very proud of my most recent award as am I. It seems from your comment you have seen it on the only place I posted about it, LinkedIn, but chose not to share the views above without your anonymity. I wrote a new post tonight sharing your thoughts with the LI community. Interesting topic which I'm sure will create some healthy debate. I hope you've found some happiness in your new role. Thanks for your continued interest in me and Lightbox.       Lightbox proved to be a great agency for me to transition into the digital industry where by I was exposed to a wide range of areas in my job role and learn new skills. During my time at Lightbox there were some great initiatives that were introduced, including a flexible working approach. In my two years at Lightbox I was exposed to well-known brands and clients as well as receiving a progress plan that helped to define the direction I wanted my career to take. Lightbox has always attracted brilliant, talented people and I look forward to seeing where the agency goes in the future!

      Due to changes in working patterns, office culture is not what it was. Bringing back more team events and time together would help to improve the team dynamics.
