The people Lightbox attract are incredible at what they do.

The amount of fake positive reviews on here is embarrassing. Classic Lightbox, quick to discredit the genuine reviews so they don’t have to take accountability for the many ways in which they’ve messed up. I could go on about the lack of integrity and the complete disregard for employee wellbeing as the team are continuously set unrealistic deadlines and expectations (and not listened to when they voice their concerns), but I think these fake reviews and responses really speak for themselves. This review “must surely be logged against the wrong business?!” Not only is that insulting the intelligence of former employees who have helped to keep Lightbox afloat, but it’s also making you look pathetic. Stop deflecting genuine feedback and start doing something about it rather than keeping up appearances, because it’s only a matter of time before more people realise this facade is a false representation of Lightbox. Although I’m sure you’ll be quick to come back and tell me that I’m wrong and everything is amazing. Oh, and congratulations Julie for winning the title of Business Woman of the Year and for further reinforcing that it’s not what you know, but who you know! Maybe stop bragging about the many meaningless awards you’ve won and look into why you continue to fail to grow as a business.

I worked at Lightbox for 9 months and I learned a lot during this time. I had the chance to work on dozen of different projects and perform several different tasks that allowed me to grow a lot as a dev. The team at Lightbox is the best part of the company. The management is good at choosing the right people. Everyone genuinely cares and take care of each other and there are always good vibes in the office environment. Work/life balance is great. For example, I needed to work remote for a few weeks during last year and they let me do it without any issue. In my time there I also had a promotion.

There is some issue with the management of several projects. But some actions have already been taken and I’ve seen a lot of improvement in my months there. Everyone at Lightbox is working hard to solve every issue.
