Therapists have a 4-day, 32 hour work week which is hard to beat, especially when you factor in salaried pay. Health insurance is covered by the company which is huge. PTO is fair and generous and I've always had my days approved. The clinical model is something I can really get behind as a clinician. I enjoy my colleagues and I feel like I do meaningful work. You will get three supervision hours built into your week, two group and one individual. Your caseload has a limit which is vital and appropriate (max 6 clients). The company values are great. If you're a new clinician wanting to learn how to be a therapist and work with a wide variety of diagnoses, this is the workplace for you.

High, high turnover and you will never know when people are gone, they're email just goes dark. It's a start-up so that means that policies are being created as the problems arise. Clinical supervision is not good, there's no planning that goes into it and it feels more like two mandatory meetings that take up your time. If you have feedback, you can communicate it all you like but you will never know if it went anywhere. The company values are a great idea but the reality is that you're working in for-profit mental health so you will get clients in psychosis, mania, autism, and with a criminal history despite the clinical model not being appropriate. Expect one training during onboarding and then to never have another conversation with upper management until you quit and have your exit interview. There's no career growth path as a therapist so my advice is get your hours and get out.
