Vantaggi

LinQuest has a very generous Salary, 401K Match, PTO, Medical, and other benefit package. Another nice benefit is that they provide the funds to employees for Long Term Disability and Short Term Disability so that you don't have to come out of pocket for these benefits. Having these in place is a source of financial peace for me and my family if anything were to happen to me. LinQuest also provides a bonus and profit sharing when available. They have consistently provided raises and promotions for me while supporting my growth as a Contracts Administrator through numerous training opportunities. The work is constant but I am trusted to accomplish it in my own way without hand holding or micro managing from leadership. Overall a great employer to work for who supports their employees well.

Svantaggi

Sometimes the amount of work can feel overwhelming but LinQuest has acknowledged this and is working to provide more personnel for contracting support.

Vantaggi

- The direct manager was highly professional, supportive, and respectful. - The recent acquisition by KBR offers hope for improved structure, culture, and leadership standards across the company. - LinQuest has some talented and experienced engineers who are passionate about their work.

Svantaggi

- The team I worked with operated under a structure that lacked proper oversight and accountability. - A key team lead had been given authority despite having no leadership training, and limited professional experience. This individual started in a regular role and, within a few years, was placed in a position to lead a team of highly experienced senior and principal engineers. - The leadership approach relied on outdated, micromanagement-style practices, with little understanding of technical complexity and minimal ability to provide meaningful guidance. - Communication from this team lead was often unprofessional—rude, dismissive, and lacking respect for the expertise of the engineering staff—which significantly impacted team morale. - Employees were noticeably unmotivated; meetings were silent, with little to no collaboration or engagement. The environment felt tense and discouraging. - Team members were frequently placed under unnecessary pressure, and concerns raised were not welcomed. In some cases, individuals who spoke up faced subtle forms of retaliation. - There seemed to be a lack of understanding—or a disregard—for basic workplace conduct standards, including respectful communication practices. - The leadership structure appeared to prioritize internal politics over merit, qualifications, and professional conduct, raising serious concerns about long-term growth and employee retention.
