People from other departments such as sales, support, assembly, are also very nice. As an own-product company, the potential for a developer is unlimited. Your level of involvement depends entirely on you. Unlike typical software factories, this company is deeply involved in all aspects of software development, as well as hardware. Its required and recommended to employees to work on-site for at least six months, after which remote work is theoretically allowed, they do prefer hybrid since sometimes is required to be in place due the product needs. Management is generally dynamic and flexible in negotiations, sometimes they might forget about things, my advice is to handle it politely but also firmly.

They do not have yet performance measuring tools, or time tracking, so there is a disparity in value and effort that each employee provides, for instance some people work less hours and just do release notes and not much else. Management then should take in to account reports who came from the architect based on facts, not gossip for instance. The company at the moment still have large amount of the team outsourced in a country outside European Union, the alignment with them can be complicated since their goal, interest, quality standards are very different from ours, but they are majority in number, and had good bonding with key people in Lincsafe, so their power and influence is huge despite we are their clients. They tend to act on their own interest obviously, that is sell hours and deliver, they denied to adopt new workflow propositions, new technologies, and their technical solutions are not understood by us in term of quality leading to security and maintenance issues, bugs, etc. [many engineers already raised this topic] Some non technical persons not understanding in that moment well the organization, prioritized outsourced company employees, (since apparently there is a cultural and language alignment between them), and on the contrary didn't empower nor support, Lincsafe engineers, but instead giving bad reports to the administration that do not resemble reality due emotional reasons, or unawareness of many implications. Management already is working actively to improve the mentioned topics, so definitely worth to work in this company but my advice is to pay attention to these potential issues since might remain some reminiscences, *do not* hesitate to alert, management will be highly interested to know and fix them at this point I believe.
