Vantaggi

The owners, management, and peers all work together; help each other. A lot of positive energy. Great career choice whether starting out or wanting to gain more knowledge.

Svantaggi

Working snow days (if it snows) is great and great pay but doesn't snow enough to stay busy working. Of course, that's not Lindgren Landscape's fault.

Vantaggi

Lots of overtime if you want it and you will learn quite a bit because you're moved around so much. Employee to employee culture is very close knit (for the most part) and the family like culture the boots on the ground made in the wake of the overwhelming workload we had was like nothing else I've ever experienced.

Svantaggi

For reference, I spent almost three years working for Lindgren. I ONLY worked in the maintenance division (construction was practically a different company with how different their treatment was from us). When I started, it was an amazing pay increase and a great change of path for me. I was fresh out of college and this seemed, at first, to be a company I could make a career in. I was hired for basic labor (mowing) but was quickly promoted to a lead position where I stayed for the rest of my time. However, I can only recommend this company if you're looking for a burner/ summer job. They will suck you dry and throw you out when you start squeaking and I suggest you do the same for how they treat their employees. Lindgren works their employees to the bone, expect outrageous standards, they don't pay well (for the standards they expect) and wont buy necessary equipment until the last possible second (absolutely required for a particular job) and the whole time, crews will be short staffed and the office will still walk out and excitedly say there's ANOTHER new property that had just signed on that must be taken care of on top of all the other properties we were drowning in. Lastly, I can confirm Lindgren as a whole is sexist, transphobic, and there are rumors of racism (that I don't have proof of). I am trans. Came out as trans (after being in the company for over two years), and was almost fired for it (thanks HR I guess for not letting the owner fire me) but only heard about it from someone else who was fired (and then not told they were fired until they tried to clock in the next morning and could not [they were in a management/ office position]). I have multiple stories of male and female friends getting shafted in one form or another but there is a much higher number of female workers who I have stories about. I finally quit with no notice once I got my ducks in a row and I can't tell you how much better I feel not having Lindgren leeching away my vitality. This is a long review, I get it, but after three years I have a lot to say. By the end, I was overqualified and hugely underpaid for what I gave Lindgren and I want to steer as many hard working people away from Lindgren as I can so they can stop preying on hard working individuals. I also wish to warn any potential clients thinking about hiring Lindgren. Most of the things they tell you will be lies to get you to sign. They do not treat us well and certainly don't pay us a competitive wage compared to the work Lindgren will give.
