Vantaggi

Most of the people are friendly by the water cooler. If you’re durable enough to last, you could rise through the ranks (at-least to the lower- management level). They’re pretty flexible with WFH on a case-by-case basis. Many people find themselves coming to the office on average of 1 day per week. There’s even employees that shift their work schedules in a way that benefits their personal lives. Disclosure: don’t expect it or feel entitled. This all depends on your relationship with your manager.

Svantaggi

Can’t speak for all departments. In my experience & summary , your mental health will diminish if you buy into the quality of your work. Link wants you to produce. They want answers, don’t care how you get to them (zero guidance or buy-in from management). If you inherit work from others, and you have prior experience, you won’t be able to follow because they approach everything like adhoc requests (instead of creating/learning to make sustainable models, you produce answers in an unorganized fashion). They also use live documents, which the integrity of your work is compromised with others making changes in your absence. Imagine being held accountable for changes you didn’t make.

Vantaggi

Strong benefits, PTO, pay, and tech. Smart, hardworking employees. Blackstone ecosystem is helpful for networking.

Svantaggi

Frequent reorgs, turnover, and quiet layoffs. Leadership seems to operate under its own set of rules. HR seems unprepared and inconsistent when dealing with serious issues. Feedback is collected but rarely acted on. Employees are expected to be in office 4 days/week and "work from anywhere" month was eliminated, but some execs continue to work wherever they want. Office-based and remote teams feel like different worlds with different expectations around responsiveness and communication. Advancement feels more driven by politics and cliques than performance. DEI has become hollow and performative and leadership lacks meaningful diversity. Leadership is reluctant to directly address morale and trust issues and often seems to protect their own.
