Often chemists, engineers and analytical chemists worked together so many different opportunities arose allowing for unique on the job experiences. Bosses were extremely approachable and took even the most junior level employees's ideas and suggestions under consideration.

Limited HR department. Research on non-essential things was often shelved due to restricted cash flow. Meetings often got off topic and lasted longer than necessary.
