Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear you left with such negative feelings. I wish you would have communicated them to me for resolution or explanation than taking to a review. As an organization dedicated to serving children and families, we value every member of our team and strive to foster a respectful, supportive work environment.
We’re proud to offer flexibility to accommodate staff needs, especially for working parents, and we’re glad that aspect of your time here was positive. However, I have no employee matching the working mom, asked for flexibility, asked about healthcare bonus at any office and specifically Blue Point.
I would like to clarify several points:
• Communication: While we understand that work-life balance is important, we must also meet state and insurance regulations that often require timely paperwork and communication. We do our best to balance those needs while respecting personal time. We would only reach out if an employee did not uphold industry standards and expectations for documentation. If we reached out urgently for documentation, it is because an employee did not submit as required.
• Scheduling and Administrative Team: Our administrative and scheduling teams work hard to manage complex logistics for multiple providers and families. If your experience was not a positive one, we regret that and are actively working on training and feedback systems to better support both staff and families.
• Pay and Bonuses: Compensation is reviewed yearly and we do offer raises and bonuses based on performance, responsibilities, and funding availability. Regarding the healthcare provider bonus, we strictly followed state-issued eligibility criteria and reporting requirements. Not all staff qualified under those guidelines, and decisions were not made arbitrarily. Our accounting firm followed strict guidelines and all eligible employees received all bonus money.
We’re always striving to improve and truly value constructive feedback. If there are any unresolved concerns or if you’d like to share more directly, we welcome a confidential conversation. My door is always open. As the owner, I would have loved a conversation as all employees are given my cell phone at onboarding.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors and continued success in your career.
