Nice friendly team, great christmas parties and free access to the owner’s gym.

Probably one of the worst places I have worked at. The director/owner operated a culture of fear which led to a very negative working environment. People were scared to speak up, particularly when he was in a bad mood. There was no genuine concern for staff welfare and we were expected to work late and ‘put the hours in’ but got in trouble if we were a few minutes late in the morning. I found the director to be crass, showing off his supercars and designer purchases whilst paying staff below market salaries and not even offering any paid sick leave - demonstrating that you can succeed in business without ever learning how to manage people. The other staff made it bearable - they were nice to work with and you could have a laugh with them, but the negative atmosphere meant that everyone constantly complained about work which was very draining.

One has to learn to work with the CEO. If you don't you won't get anywhere here. If you do you will be promoted quickly. He can be brilliant when in a good mood and you will learn a lot from him then.

Can be a bit cliquey and communication can be poor. As others have said CEO can be difficult to navigate if don't know how to handle him.
