Great work environment - Recensione dipendente - Technical Recruiter presso Local Search Group

I've worked for Local Search Group in a variety of capacities over the past 12 years. Throughout this time, I have always been presented with opportunities for growth, chances to expand my skill set and flexibility to adjust as my current season of life may have changed.

Not a con in my opinion, but it could be for some - you do have to be self led and self managed. There is no babysitting or micromanaging taking place. Do your job and do it well and everything else falls into place.

I loved working at Local Search Group. The people were great and my PPC department was amazing. I remember the first day the PPC team took me out to lunch to get to know me and I felt so welcomed. I got to learn more about PPC and help grow our PPC accounts overtime. You get trained right away and they have a fair and set schedule for you to finish your training. I got right up to speed and learned right away. There were a lot of team building exercises that helped me grow as individual. Each thing I learned applied to my work life and personal life. Jim really does take the time to reward his employees. Jim is a great guy and he truly cares about his business. He's firm when it comes to his business, but outside of work he's just like anybody else relaxed, fun, and outgoing. The pay and benefits are great, plus you get snacks and even might get box seats to some great sporting events. The schedule is fair and you get to volunteer with the team once a year. Overall my experience at Local Search Group was great for experience and personal development. Great ideas are encouraged!

The turnover rate became too high overtime, but I believe Local Search group has managed to turn that around. At one point some workers felt over worked due to the lack of employees on the team, but that was in 2018 so this may no longer may be the case.
