Svantaggi
Conformity is the unwritten rule. Disagreeing with leadership, even tactfully, even when you're right, puts a permanent mark on you. They preach the DISC framework but don't hold themselves to it. The moment you challenge a decision or signal any skepticism, expect visible irritation and a long memory. It doesn't matter how diplomatic you are. Decision-making is entirely centralized at the C-suite, down to things that shouldn't require their involvement at all. There's no flexibility in how work gets done, and your direct managers have no real authority to advocate for you. Outcomes matter less than obedience. You will be penalized for succeeding the wrong way in any capacity. Fluff in meetings seems to matter more than output. Daily standups function less like team alignment and more like attendance checks. Showmanship in meetings is rewarded over the quality of actual work. For a company this small, they've somehow inherited all the dysfunction of a large bureaucracy with none of the benefits on either end. You won't find the resources or stability of a big organization, and the agility and flexibility you'd expect from a small one are nowhere to be found either. No parental leave of any kind. You're burning PTO or not getting paid when taking time off for a newborn. Anything requiring a timely decision, things with real consequences for the product, customers, and growth, will stall for no clear reason. Following up either gets you ignored or earns you a scolding. Compensation is average at best and does not reflect the level of stress or expectations placed on employees. This is a genuinely toxic place to work. Employee wellbeing was rarely, if ever, a real priority. Terminations also happens across departments without warning or explanation, adding another layer of instability to an already stressful environment.
