The engineering team really care about code quality. You are given the time to do your job properly. We stay agile, so we release early and often. No long running feature branches. Proper continuous integration and deployment - push to Master goes live immediately. Great autonomy to implement the solution you think will work best, but lots of support if you ask for it. Technical decisions are made in the open via Basecamp threads to give everyone a chance to voice their thoughts/opinions. Lot's of difficult technical problems to get stuck into.
