Pay was fairly good, my supervisors and managers had my back which was incredible, never had issues with getting extra hours when I needed it. They trusted me to do my work without anyone hovering over me. Funny people! The people really made the workplace.

They had me working two positions at the same time for the pay of one, multiple issues with sexual harassment that were treated by isolating the harassed before addressing the harasser, and the departments had serious issues with communication and teamwork. We were promised (for 1.5 years) more employees to deal with a customer base that tripled in size but we were never given more employees unless a current one left/was fired. In the end we had less people than we started with for a customer base of over 100 clients.

Firstly, precious energy is sometimes wasted by negative thinking, passive aggressive behavior and lack of cohesive and positive teams. Secondly, our teams at the moment seem more like loose organization of talented individuals, than a solid team of cooperative, talented professionals. Secondly, wages are not competitive. They are below the market rate for the value we produce. This is leading to key talent feeling undervalued and seriously considering jumping ship. Human Resources is undervalued and our own etiquette rules are not followed or enforced consistently. Specifically we should strive to find creative ways to reduce negative or sensitive not work related conversations that can easily alienate offended individuals. And even more importantly, we should strive to avoid any and all forms of sexual harassment. We also need to find creative ways to inspire staff, to be more mission oriented and cooperative, positive and make healthier choices...This perhaps maybe the biggest challenge facing this company. But with the right policies and right example by upper management, this can be turned around.
