Vantaggi

Office Location is accessible to downtown

Svantaggi

There are so many. This company lacks professionalism, from the CTO to managers. You HAVE to be a YES man to work and succeed here; I was once told to stay in my lane and do the job I was hired to do when I presented a few ideas on how to streamline processes. CSM role has one manager who loves you as long as you say yes to everything. If you ask questions about new processes that she cannot answer, she gets defensive and you become her newest target. The CEO is nice, but has said to employees that if you’re not doing anything beneficial for him, there's no reason for him to remember who you are. The pay DOES NOT equate to the amount of work you will be mandated to do. It’s not even close. Most of the employees at Lofty are miserable but their professional confidence is so low they don’t have the courage to look for other employment OR TIME.

Vantaggi

A small number of genuine coworkers who care and are committed to doing quality work. There are a few individuals within the team who make the day to day bearable and bring real value to the environment.

Svantaggi

Where to begin. Internal communication is severely lacking — departments are never on the same page and it creates constant confusion and inefficiency. Employee opinions and feedback are ignored, and ideas are either taken without credit or pushed aside entirely because the egos in the room are too big to consider them. It is clear that only a small handful of people actually run the show here, with little to no regard for anyone else in the organization. Resources and tools needed to actually do the job well and grow as a professional simply are not there. Development opportunities are almost nonexistent, and any conversations around growth feel like a checkbox exercise rather than a genuine investment in employees. Work life balance is virtually nonexistent. The expectation to constantly give more while receiving little in return is unsustainable, and there is no real respect for employees' time or boundaries outside of work. The culture of appreciation is hollow and performative — recognition feels like a retention tactic to keep employees in line rather than authentic acknowledgment of hard work. Skills and abilities are underutilized and overlooked, and what employees bring to the table is worth far more than what is being recognized here. Ego is a significant problem at this company. There are far too many people in positions of influence who refuse to put their egos aside for the good of the team or the employee. It creates a toxic dynamic that trickles down and affects everything from communication to morale to day to day operations. Strong leadership that once existed and genuinely valued its team has since departed, and what remains does not come close to filling that gap. Trust in leadership has eroded significantly, and the overall feeling is that the company prioritizes extracting value from its employees over actually investing in them as people and professionals.
