Vantaggi

The best part of the job were a few of my coworkers who kept me sane.

Svantaggi

- The pay is low despite claims of a "competitive salary" during the hiring process. If it's truly competitive, why not list it in the job advertisement? - Pay is issued monthly (on the first of the month). If the first of the month falls on a weekend or a long weekend, your pay is delayed by a few days, sometimes 3 or more. It's hard to imagine how people with mortgages or children manage. Switching to a biweekly pay schedule would be more appropriate for modern times, it's no longer the 1980's. - Original manager was fantastic, but my subsequent manager had no expertise in the field and was unwillingly thrust into the role. They lacked both the desire and knowledge to manage effectively, leaving myself to guide them. They even refused to set KPIs when requested by myself. How does one achieve their "yearly bonus" if they can't meet the KPIs because they were never set? - Employees are constantly assigned additional tasks. Despite being paid for one role, you end up doing the work of 3-4 jobs without proper compensation. - No salary increases aligned with inflation. - The company lacks a strong culture and their claims of "family values" are misleading—this is a workplace, not a family. - Employees are overworked and there is no HR department to address concerns. - When Assystem acquired the company, it was supposed to lead to increased budgets and more resources. Instead, the Australian branch has been neglected and effectively the "poor cousins" of the company. - Communication within the company is poor, particularly between different states and international offices. - They send out an "anonymous" employee exit interview survey, but it's distributed by your manager, making it impossible to answer truthfully. There's no point in completing it, as it's always clear who provided the feedback. If only one person is leaving at the time, you know exactly who submitted it. Find another option or don't bother.
