The standards are simple - no complex hoops or hurdles to jump through. Managers are very open, honest, and they so incredibly open to try new things. They take our ideas and actually act upon them (within reason), but it's not a stressful nor harsh environment. That's the best thing about this place. No micro-managing, just friendly staff and an overall willingness to help yourself and other succeed. We are a customer-focused business and equally, an employee focused business where they realize if the employee is happy, this will reflect on our interactions with the customer. Having worked for both corporate and private businesses and in Customer Service for 20+ years, this is by far the most enjoyable work environment I've ever experienced.

I wished we worked 4 days a week - but this is a dream and not realistic. There are always things to improve in any company. Communication is key, but if more employees learned how to be followers of great leaders, then I am sure this and any company could improve. Statistics show that good employees and good managers (and leaders, they are not the same) who work in tandem for the better of the business and its customers often fare better than those companies who do not. Another con - the benefits. They are "OK", but not great. This includes health insurance whereas most companies offer 80/20 coverage. I'd like to see better benefits as well as more retailer employee perks/discounts.
