Managers are not there for you. I have seen a number of people go because the managers employed favoritism towards other employees, thereby not training and not giving others a chance. Management will say they gave those guys many chances, but, in the end, those people were set up to fail. This company has a big issue with scoping work; I don't think I've ever seen a project finished in time or on budget. The blame is usually put on us project managers instead of the ones selling the jobs instead. The turnover of PM's is remarkable. The company also has some questionable leadership in regards to client relationship.
