9am - 6pm work where you could very easily make no money at all? What gives, Loop! This is 100 % entirely commissioned-based and unless you are Jim Halpert, I can't see this job being lucrative to anyone. You work 8+ hours 6 days a week in any weather making no base pay and still have to provide for your own (unlimited) metrocard, lunch, and professional work attire (to stand in the sun/rain trying to flag down strangers to sell them groceries). The locations are often poorly-chosen, like Park Slope or Downtown Brooklyn where there are food co-ops and organic grocery stores on just about every block. The interview process is long, drawn-out (5+ hours at a time for at least two days straight with no food provided), and deceiving. There is no straightforward description of the job itself save for vague "career-building opportunities" (red flag). There is also no direct mention of the pay until AFTER you are chosen (bigger red flag). No vacation days either so you basically becoming a Hello Fresh-selling zombie with only Sundays off but no energy to enjoy them.
