Vantaggi
Plenty of flexibility on how you organise your workday Interesting projects and many opportunities to upskill, if you're proactive about it PLenty of lovely colleagues, who, as much as they're able to, DO uphold the company values where possible
Svantaggi
At the end of my time at Loop, it became clear that, depending on your job title in the company, your feedback would be taken on board or not. Perhaps not atypical for a start-up, people tend to wear many hats, but if you signal that you are being stretched too thin, it doesn't seem to register until you're almost entirely overworked. While the company espouses radical candor and has a set of "constellations" that guide the company culture, it seems like they're sometimes being forgotten instead of upheld. Getting a promotion was like pulling teeth, even after getting feedback that I was performing "above expectations" several times in a row. I also wasn't super fond of hearing that a sensitive issue that I had raised with one person within HR, was shared further to other members of the HR team (which would make sense), and then was shared with people OUTSIDE of the company (which is a gross negligence, to put it mildly).
