I’ve been with LoopMe for over two years and have seen the company go from hopeful, to dismal. Though the product is good, and works, run of business is a mess. There have been a handful of hires in upper management who have a bad attitude and an unwarranted sense of entitlement, and they treat their staff as such. They blame the issues that the company has as “start up growing pains” but there are other startups in the industry that have been around for less time than LoopMe and they are more organized, have a better structure, and a legitimate on boarding process. These select Loopers have had a negative impact on the quality of culture at LoopMe in the past year, with most people being happy to desperately searching for a new job. On top of effecting culture negatively, they make people in lower-medium level positions feel incompetent, or irrelevant, and go on to ignore people if they have a small issue, which is incredibly unprofessional for an individual at that level. The value of hires has also seemed to drop with their lead. There is an exorbitant amount of focus on hiring sales, with little to no focus on hiring support teams- at the direction of the CEO. In quarterly all-hands they boast how much they plan to grow staff at LoopMe, but what they’re failing to mention is the lack of growth in supporting teams. This has lead to overworked support teams, ie: creative, sales planning, marketing, and frustrated sellers, who - sometimes unintentionally- take their frustrations out on these teams. There is a singular HR person for the entire US, who is incredibly over worked and expected to handle all HR tasks as well as maintain the NYC office. I do believe there are some solid, smart, hard working people at LoopMe, but I think that their efforts and talent is wasted there. Employees have also been advised against writing Glassdoor reviews.

The solution has great delivery and measurement products and the clients love it. We did our Sales Kick off at Disney World this year and we do fun events like this throughout the year, so a really good culture.

Growing company, so the inherent growing pains, but nothing to be alarmed about.

Employees are often treated like numbers rather than people. I was denied paternity leave despite being just two days shy of my one-year mark, leaving me without pay when my first child was born. This showed that policies and employee well-being are secondary to the company’s bottom line. It is apparent the company is positioning itself for sale, and this drives decisions. Employees are seen as expenses to cut rather than people to invest in, with benefits, perks, and support reduced to improve margins. Promises about valuing employees often feel like empty statements rather than reality.
