Vantaggi
Casual dress code. Cafeteria. Reasonable salary. Coworkers (below the manager/director level) are smart and awesome people, seriously…so many really want to do a good job, are friendly, and great to work with.
Svantaggi
I don’t even know where to begin. I have been at the company for years now and I can say, without any doubt, that the leadership has absolutely no idea what it’s ultimately doing or how to get there. I have seen the goal post moved so many times over the years and a lot of good people with real talent get axed or be driven away because they couldn’t take the stress anymore. Running a good business that made customers happy used to be enough once upon a time. It’s not anymore. Now, it’s all about more clients, more business, more revenue, etc. As a result, the company is growing way too fast (at least half, probably closer to 2/3 of the employees have joined within the last year or two). The culture is all over the map, management is changing constantly, and the general mood is sour and depressed - which HR and the executive leadership will deny to the very end. Every day I hear, not just from people in my own department, but others as well about how far we’ve fallen and how they’re looking or expecting to start looking in the near future. It’s difficult to continue day to day when so many people below the executive level seem to want to leave and when the organization is a constant parade of new faces, many of whom will probably be gone within 6 months anyway.
