Fellow colleagues were very young, friendly and approachable, even if they were really too busy to offer necessary support. Luminance gave me the opportunity of my first job out of university, even if I hadn't graduated from Oxbridge (which were evidently their universities of choice). Free snacks on Friday helped for camaraderie working crazy long hours to cobble together a release before the weekend.

Developers (myself included) suffered from serious burnout. Management made it clear that there were perks to be had but only by those who really dedicated their whole beings to the project. The developers are treated like lemons to be squeezed and thrown away. A colleague I worked closely with especially suffered from the brunt of management's aggressive and manipulative attitude towards making money. Luminance is indebted to huge amounts of investment money so making money is the number one priority.
