I have worked at different stores and this has been my experience at both: You are told to always give 5* customer service, but aren't allowed to spend too lon with a customer and so feel rushed or worried you'll get in trouble if a consultation runs long. Management staff often rush to tell you what you've supposedly done wrong but don't want to hear your explanation of the situation. It is often presumed that if you aren't talking to a customer then you are avoiding doing your job. There is a lot of pretending to care about staff but not truly. Feedback tends to feel more negative focussed rather than constructive or positive. Sales competitions - whilst they can be a good idea, in practice makes you feel very pushy with customers Clear favouritism
