      The people are awesome. The Lytx culture is great. While every company has its fair share of tech debt and mess, the engineering teams try to address these as best they can.

      5 year vesting period for 401k is absurdly long. Entry level salary is quite competitive, but the rate of growth is very small. Now for the biggest issue. The company DOES NOT value long term employees and DOES NOT reward loyalty. HC penny pinches and regularly screws people out of money they deserve. I can personally say I've been intentionally shorted at least $15k over the several years I've been here due to their stupid policies and inflexibility to address these concerns. Because of this inflexibility and refusal to reward long term employees, turnover rate is high for the software engineering teams. There are far more new employees at every level than there are old employees. Because of this, I am so torn about leaving. I love the people and the work, but I am not ok with being shorted on what I am worth. Its like a bad relationship. The good times are great, but being cheated on feels like crap and, while it may hurt to leave, it's for the best to move on. I could only recommend Lytx to a friend as a short term commitment.

Our recent “Return to Office” events for phase one employees which included free coffee, catered lunches, happy hours and cool swag received rave reviews. We evaluate our overall employee offering annually to maintain a competitive edge in the industry and we’re currently researching the 401K vesting period.       While there is career movement, there are limited career paths in certain departments, but hopefully that will clear up with continued company growth.

      Great people are leaving, signs of a business in decline. Direction of the company and outlook for the future is bleak. Years spent sitting on the sidelines collecting money and patting ourselves on the back has resulted in the current market positioning and has allowed our competitors to make a big run at our expense. It might be too late to recover, especially if we continue to increase and promote middle management from departments with history of negligence and apathy for the customer experience. There’s a business to run, but without customers there won’t be any business…
