- No work-life balance. - Forced to work on weekends, often under significant pressure. - Only 5 employees(all Telugu) have complete knowledge of the Finflux project, creating dependencies that prevent others from advancing. - Discriminatory behavior towards Hindi speaking employees. - Code merges require approval from two leads, leading to delays and unnecessary hassle. Despite these delays, you are questioned about why tasks are taking so long. - Code reviews are excessively stringent down to the variable names. You're expected to complete review comments by working on weekends, with no regard for personal time. - They will review the code line by line, ensuring that even the variable names align with their preferences, which can be time-consuming and wasteful. - They will provide numerous review comments, causing the original estimation to fail, as addressing their comments can take few days. Consequently, they will insist on no spillover, expecting you to stretch yourself and work on Saturday and Sunday since the sprint is nearing its end.

I worked at M2P Fintech for more than three years, and it was a great experience. I learned a lot during my time. building products from scratch and taking them all the way to production. handling production issues Later, I moved to the credit team, where I gained even more valuable experience. The founders were exceptional, and their words were always motivating and inspiring. Throughout my journey, It was always a self satisfaction of work than the salary. I had to leave due to micromanagement and to maintain my self-respect. It was difficult to see people whom I had trained and to whom I had handed over complete backend product knowledge get promoted while I remained at the same level. Mentally, that was challenging to cope with. Nevertheless, I am grateful to the founders and M2P for giving me the opportunity to grow and learn. The experience I gained there has been invaluable, and today I carry knowledge and practical exposure that I believe rivals that of many highly experienced senior software engineers.

Career growth and promotion processes could be more transparent. promotions depends on team, some guy join in august will get promoted in April but someone working for company day and night for many years remains at same level. Work-life balance can be challenging during high-priority deliveries. Recognition and rewards may not always align with contributions.

- The work culture is genuinely positive and the team is collaborative and easy to work with. - The onboarding and hiring process was seamless and well-organized. - There's real flexibility around working hours with no micromanagement on timings. The focus is purely on deliverables. - The office is in a great area with plenty of food options nearby. - Leadership trusts the team to get things done, which creates a healthy work environment.

- Like most fintech and startup-cultured companies, there can be phases of high workload and tight deadlines but that's fairly standard in the industry. - No major cons to report after 3 months. It's been a solid experience so far.
