Thank you for taking the time to write MAD Security a review on Glassdoor. It is important for us to hear what we are doing well and what we need to improve upon. We are not accustomed to receiving one star reviews, as you can see from our previous reviews, so we too are disappointed that your experience while working here was unsatisfactory. We failed somewhere along the line. We never hire someone with the intent of providing an unsatisfactory experience, so we appreciate the opportunity to improve. Our hiring process is very much focused on placing the right people in the right seats in order to position every employee and our company for success. We operate our company using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS: https://www.eosworldwide.com/) and implement the People Analyzer for evaluating and coaching our people. This process is well known for its effectiveness and in some cases results in identifying that our company and a person is not a good fit, for reasons that are neither the individual’s fault nor our company’s. In these cases, the process typically takes about 90-120 days, (and definitely less than a year), to identify mismatches. In those cases, our separation is normally done under satisfactory and in very positive terms, so again we are saddened to hear that this was not the case with you. We are going to take a step back and review what we may have missed in your case, as you have noted several specific “cons” in your review. The specific cons you have listed here trouble us greatly, as we have spent significant effort building and maintaining a cohesive leadership team and create overall organizational clarity. We feel as though by adopting EOS about three and a half years ago we have been successful in providing clear vision, traction, and organization for our people resulting in all our people rowing in the same direction. After every quarterly Leadership Team meeting, a comprehensive address by our President is performed to the entire company on what our specific objectives are and where we stand in meeting them. This includes our 90-day objectives, our one plan, the three picture, and our ten year target. Quarterly addresses last approximately an hour and questions and answers are encouraged. These are recorded, and a link to the recording is sent out in case someone was unable to attend live or wishes to review it after the fact again for clarity. We are actively reviewing your situation to better understand how this process was not received and not understood by you in your tenure with us. We strive very hard to ensure our annual and quarterly offsite business reviews address the cons you have listed above, but specifically in your position as a Sales Account Executive. We know from our many years of existence that being a Sales Executive has its own set of obstacles and pressures. We invest heavily to remove the obstacles by not only conducting offsite business reviews which contain a substantial amount of training, but by bringing in outside sales training services for multi-day training sessions that are delivered annually to our team. We recently under your tenure added Mike Weinberg’s online sales training modules and are currently working as a group, with weekly meetings and trainings, to cover the principles within his book New Sales Simplified to expand our investment in our sales executives’ success. All in all, I personally, appreciate your feedback and have been reflecting on it. I can’t agree with the overall premise of it and truly believe if you survey our people, they are highly motivated, understand our strategy, and are appreciative of the amount of effort we put into these areas. However, I have learned in life that there are blind spots, and I will continue to reflect on your feedback and seek out identifying issues that might result in the unsatisfaction you have expressed. I believe if you would have extended me the courtesy of conducting an exit interview versus simply submitting a resignation letter via email that was “effective immediately”, many of these grievances could have been addressed and may not have resulted in this review. I do wish you the very best in all your endeavors and if you do change your mind about having that exit interview to sit down with me and discuss I would be happy to facilitate it. --MAD Security cares about long-term client relationships over quick wins. It is easier to work for a company and sell when the service delivery is so good and you believe in the services you are providing to customers and prospects. --Processes are in place and regularly honed. Sales can be a very tough place to be, but the CEO and current VP-Sales are very directly involved in training the sales team. Solutions to sales challenges are collaborative, with the technicians/cyber engineers involved in sales training designed to arm sales with the information to fully describe outcomes to prospects and clients. --Employees are heard and novel ideas are encouraged at weekly level 10 meetings and weekly training. --There is weekly training with the CEO usually involved. Being able to get the CEO's direct input is invaluable. --Excellent growth potential. The current VP of Sales was hired from within based on his excellent performance and commitment to success. He is absolutely awesome to work for. --This industry is about to explode as more scrutiny and regulations for cybersecurity are in process. As a salesperson, my earning potential is of course paramount. --Great team environment with appropriate humor highly encouraged and appreciated. You can be yourself and diversity of thought is appreciated.

--The environment is high-tempo, and much is expected. Measures of performance are in place and the level of accountability is not for everyone. You have to bring your "A" game every day which can be challenging.

No opportunity, pay is terrible for the area, management stuck in the past. Constant mentioning of being replaced by AI. Our chat is called sweat shop for a reason. Reviews astroturfed.
