Don’t even bother applying for a position in the accounting department! Horrible accounting department management. They are not open to promoting their workers from within. All they do is delegate and do not pay attention to the needs of the employees in the department. As an employee the company offers great benefits but, offers no opportunities for growth. They’re always hiring people for lead/management positions from the outside, having hard working employees inside. I have seen many leave due to this. They completely ignore and fail to help you grow if you have potential. The Controller, such a nice lady but, completely oblivious to the needs of the employees under her. She has no patience to train, tells you one thing and later it’s completely wrong, and doesn’t take accountability to cover for the employees when they’re out. Regardless of the benefits they offer as a company if they don’t help their employees grow, none of the pros really matter. Their pay is alright, since I’ve left I make way much more money. There are better opportunities out there. I do not recommend working for the accounting department. Stay away they cannot hold their employees in that department. The weekly meetings are always negative, stressful, and condescending. Very unprofessional accounting management, have favoritism, lack opportunities, don’t pay well, and seriously who cares to know what about your bosses’ private life? The CAO loves to boast about herself and get attention. Never says hello or good morning to anyone who’s not an executive. Not even people in her department unless she favors you. So unprofessional. Feel sorry for those that remain, most are miserable.
