Vantaggi
MBDA's position as the European leader for missile provision in Europe means that they are a company with great interest in people from both civilian (University / Industry) and military (I am ex-RAF) backgrounds. This is because there are roles that need people with excellent academic abilities and people who have operated in the "real" world. MBDA covers the whole spectrum, from high-end component / system design and development, through to systems integration (which is what I do) and in-service support. As a result, there are a huge variety of roles available, which is great for personal development and progression. I feel having this variety of activities makes it an interesting company to work for. Another thing I really appreciate is MBDA's willingness to support flexible working arrangements, whether that's home-working, or non-standard working patterns (I've just moved from full-time to part time, so looking forward to that). It's a very supportive working environment, with a strong emphasis on looking after our people and on inclusivity.
Svantaggi
I don't really have anything to complain about - however, the sites are subject to constant development, so you might find your office arrangements changing, or having some restrictions on parking, but they are minor quibbles.
