Owner of company lied about many things - including leadership opportunities, regular reviews, and salary. After a while, there's no trust when his word doesn't mean anything. Owner has regular "bad days" when he is rude and short with everyone. We have witnessed several yelling matches in open office setting which are uncomfortable to hear. Employees have learned to avoid him in general. Employees must sign a form committing to specific hours they will be in the office. (post COVID) Very inflexible work from home and flex hours policy. Owner typically comes to the office around 10am each morning without providing similar flexibility to employees. Pay and PTO is low compared to other similar companies. Employees are required to take PTO for virtually every hour not worked in the office. Work-life suffers - employees must choose which family events to attend based on limited PTO. Insurance costs are extremely high.
