Pay is low ($15 USD for people with degrees and years of experience teaching ESL is ridiculous) with no opportunity for raises because it "wouldn't be fair to other teachers." No opportunities for career progression. Hours get rough, especially in the winter due to the time difference between America and Korea. No pay for mandatory feedback and monthly reports.
