It was kind of close to where I lived.

Micro-managing, constant bickering, rude comments from the owner, people were constantly fired without any notice. Their idea training is telling people to watch Youtube videos.

The bickering with our former COO stopped the day he left the company. I'm sorry you had to work with him as he definitely micro-manages people. Since he left we have established a friendly office environment that values our employees. Obviously you feel strongly about your time here, even though it has been a year or two since you worked here.
With the exception of one employee who crossed an HR line that could not be uncrossed, we have never fired an employee without first giving them the opportunity to improve their performance. I don't know who you are, so I can't really comment more, but hopefully you've moved on to bigger and better things.
Terrific commitment to employees, culture, and community. Best place I've ever worked, hands down.

Lunch 3 days a week is a nice offer. As is the gated parking available to employees.

Within 9 months, 11 employees left (either laid off or left). There were a total of 16 employees at MK Partners. All 11 employees had expressed dissatisfaction during their time working there. The environment is unfriendly and unstable. Workflow is disorganized and training is completely obsolete. Its a sink or swim. They offer snacks, which are monitored by management. The pay is ok but if you want a raise, don't expect much. Lunch breaks are strictly monitored as are breaks. Expect to not go over the minute. Also, management is constantly eavesdropping on your conversations.

It sounds like you worked here when our former COO was in charge. He definitely had a different way of running things. Fortunately, he left in May 2015. Since then, we've undergone a major overhaul and thrown out all of his policies and procedures. The result is a healthier workplace and better morale. As a former member of the team, you're always welcome to stop by and say hi and see how things have improved.
