Vantaggi

WFH so you can cry/complain between meetings about how bleak the outlook is for this company

Svantaggi

Actually everything about this company is terrible. Their stock is worthless, they don't help employees grow personally or professionally, they will lay you off before they give you more money, their pay is not competitive unless you live in rural America, they pride themselves on culture but with WFH there is no real culture, the product doesn't work well and customers don't stay long term so you can't build lasting relationships. In a world where all major tech players have a CTV offering, why would you go with MNTN who has no real competitive advantage? Do yourself a favor and just don't

Vantaggi

My team was genuinely so smart and kind, and working alongside them was one of the highlights of my time here. MNTN meets were well organized and fun. Benefits package is competitive (though salary is not). Good work life balance. Very family oriented.

Svantaggi

Career growth here has very little to do with the quality of your work and is driven almost entirely by politics: who you’re aligned with, how well you manage up, and whether you’re in the right social circle. Different perspectives are routinely dismissed, even when they come from the person with the most relevant domain expertise. Leaders with big egos have cultivated a culture where agreement is rewarded and constructive feedback is not. Strategy shifts are constant and poorly communicated, creating lots of thrash and leaving teams perpetually reactive instead of focused. No raises unless you’re promoted which they also don’t do often.
