I am not one that believes in sharing negativity which is why I have not provided a review until now, however, when I heard that the CEO was cajoling her people and network to boost this site for positive reviews from people, I felt it was my obligation to step in and share my experience to ensure that a person reviewing this company has a fair understanding of the environment before being conned into joining this autocracy. When I was working at this company I was shocked at how this company was run They hire for people that will fall-in line and not oppose the dictatorship of the upper management...they prefer keeping the people that they are able to manipulate into submission, by forming cult-like relationships where they try to make them believe that they are superior to everyone else because they are still working for the company because they give it their all. I think they do genuinely work hard, however people do not leave these kinds of reviews because they don't want to work hard...unfortunately, they are blinded to the inherent manipulation of the CEO and her upper management minions. New ideas, professional experiences and respect for ones' experiences are not welcome there. A couple of "shock moments" in particular for me: - You were tracked the moment you 'badged' into the front door, turned on your computer (a sign-on log kept track of when you would work from your desktop computer) and submitted your time for your project work which had to line up exactly to when you came, left and worked. They did not have laptops for their employees, which seemed like an attempt to further control and keep an eye on their employees. - I was explicitly told that it was an expectation by the CEO that you donate each year to the United Way and was given an example of how much would be appropriate to donate on her behalf. (She is on the board) As if that were not enough, you were told to submit your donation to your manager so they could keep track. -They ask you to fill in the survey for the Top 100 company satisfaction survey which was handed out as a company in the lunch room and was asked to be handed directly to the CEO. There are so many more things I could outline here, but I don't believe is necessary. I simply want to provide a fair assessment of my experience here. It is true, if you fit "their mold", you could be very happy, but for someone that has substantial professional experiences, is looking for a company to grow with and to help grow, you are only able to shine as much as your front-line manager feels comfortable with.
